A lovely few days away.....

Hello everyone, just going to show a few snaps from our lovely few days away at Preston, we visited Preston, Blackpool Zoo, Southport, an archery shop and several craft shops.... needless to say a good time was had by all!! I went with my husband Gary and little boy Aaron.


Firstly heres a few piccies from Blackpool Zoo, not too many though, I don't want you falling asleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!






Here are the lovely camels having a bit of a rest, and probably thinking about their tea....





This orang-utang like hiding under this piece of sacking, we went twice and both times she was like this, according to the information this is how she likes to spend her time!!

There were some llamas too, Aaron liked them because they reminded him of Nuzzle and Scratch the alpacas from CBeebies.

This is the baby giraffe which was only a cfew weeks old and sooooo cute!

These are definitely Aarons favourite animals, the elephants, sadly there are now only three elephants Katie, Crumple and Marcella as Crumple had to be put to sleep earlier this year due to chronic arthritis which didn't respond to medication... (Yes I had to memorise their names, mind you he remembered them too!)

We went to Southport for the day too, it is really a lovely town. We walked over the pier and they've even got a pier tram to bring you back!! (You could of course cheat and get it bothways!) There is a cafe and an exhibition about the history of the pier too
