Bah Humbug - Challenge 2!!

Hello everyone, well over at Bah Humbug this week the ladies would like to see you using your stencils on your creations!! Well all I can say is EEEEEK!! I quite by chance bought a Christmas stencil last week, having no idea what I was going to use it for!! It was half price at 99p so it was a bargain really.  I thought it would end up where all my other (2 or 3!!) stencils ended up - lost but in my craft room somewhere!!  I had a mishap with a lovely Dreamweaver stencil which got mangled in my Big Shot, and this sort of put me off the whole stencil malarkey, not to mention the "what do I do with these things" thoughts going through my mind!!Well I have had several ideas for this card but they have all ended up in the bin!! Then I remembered that I had some parchment so I duly dug it out, got out my (very under used!!) embossing tools, grabbed my stamping pad et voila!! Matted, layered and a bit of embossing, here is my card!!

I am also entering this card at Crafty Emmas challenges where the challenge this week is No Designer Papers!  Hope this card is okay, thanks for looking love Steph
